Meet the Support Team

The Heretaunga Kindergarten Support Office is composed of a team of 12 experienced professionals. Our primary objective is to provide assistance and guidance to all 16 kindergartens. With a shared passion for early childhood education, our team is committed to supporting kindergartens in achieving their goals.

Scott Jenyns

(Chief Executive)

Scott is responsible for daily business activities, improving overall business functions, developing strategic plans, creating policies, and communicating business goals.

Kirsty Overend

(Head of Kindergarten

Operations)

Kirsty is responsible for all recruitment and staff management.

Sarah Arnold

(Professional Practice Manager)

Sarah is responsible for supporting teaching and learning across the kindergartens.

Ainsley Perry

(Finance & Admin Manager)

Ainsley is responsible for managing financial and operational systems, processes, administration, and internal controls in support of the Association. 

Rebekah Whittaker

(Payroll and Finance Officer)

Rebekah is responsible for payroll and all financial aspects of the Association. 

Murray Cheyne

(Property Manager)

Murray is responsible for the property maintenance of all the kindergartens.

Ivan Motley

(Property Maintenance)

Ivan is responsible for the onsite property maintenance of all the kindergartens.

Herena Petera

(Kaiarataki Māori)

Herena brings guidance, knowledge and understanding within our Association around partnership, participation and protection in honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Loz Scott

(Office Coordinator)

Loz is responsible for day to day administration,  supporting Association staff and supporting constitutional requirements.

Brynn Hamlen

(Marketing Specialist)

Brynn leads the development and implementation of marketing strategy, content creation, and brand management across campaigns, social media, and the website.

Suzanne Forde

(Early Intervention Advisor)

Suzanne works alongside kaiako, tamariki, and whānau to support the inclusion and learning of tamariki with diverse needs across our kindergartens.
