Nau mai haere mai - Welcome
Here at Raureka Kindergarten our Kaiako teach from the heart using Mana Enhancing practices to build on our tamariki’s sense of identity and belonging. Through Manaakitanga and Whanaungtanga we provide a welcoming and inclusive space for all.
Vision and Philosophy
Vision
Here at Raureka we want to enhance the Mana of the tamariki to show them the fun in learning and encourage lifelong learners.
Philosophy
We pride ourselves on Mana enhancing practice, ensuring aroha is at the heart of all we do. We acknowledge the unique way of being each tamati is gifted with, using this as a foundation for their kindergarten learning journey.
Our Kaiako are passionate about creating a space that provides authentic Te Ao Māori experiences, showing understanding of the concept of Ako and learning from one another.
Our environment is designed and intentionally set up to provide tamariki with a safe place to be themselves and learn through active exploration and investigation.
Through enacting Manaakitanga and Whānuangtanga you can feel the wairua within that supports a strong sense of belonging where whānau are invited to be actively involved within their tamati’s learning journey.
