At Raureka Kindergarten children’s growing needs are well catered for by fully trained registered teachers in a stimulating and child centred environment. Opportunities for learning are equitable with our treaty partner and each child/ family contribution is valued in this diverse multi cultural community. The roll is capped at 30 children with a child teacher ratio of 1 to 10. Visitors are always welcome.

The environment at Raureka Kindergarten is structured to empower childrens learning by being safe physically and emotionally whilst encouraging a stimulating and challenging environment. Our core curriculum is the range of essential activities available on a daily basis to encourage, extend and empower individual learning through a strong resource base.
Children are affirmed as individuals and are encouraged to learn holistically (whole child development) based on te Whaariki, DOPs and Ministry regulations. All children will be valued, respected and fairly treated in a very positive and loving environment.
